Terms and Conditions
Consumer Contracts
The Terms of Business for Consumer Contracts will be in accordance with statutory rights as set out by Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with this contract. Where your product is goods, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Where your product is services the service must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
Order Confirmation
The information provided to you on your order form/quote/invoice together with the subject of our meeting and/or survey is the detail to which we are offering the product and services to you. By providing payment of your deposit you are accepting the specification described as your contract with us for the supply and fit of shutters and/or blinds.
Amendments
Once your deposit has been paid and the order placed, due to the bespoke nature of your product, it is unlikely that you will be able to make any changes or amendments to said order. Please contact us as soon as possible if this is required. The measurements taken at your survey represent the sizes for your shutters. Should any changes be made to the size of the window i.e. new window design, addition of tiles etc. then it will be deemed the customers responsibility if the shutters or blinds do not fit.
Right to Cancel
You have 14 working days from the point of order to cancel your order. Should you wish to do so you will need to inform is in writing (letter or email) of your desire to cancel your order. Please note that due the bespoke nature of the product ordered the deposit paid (50% of order value) is non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery
Please be advised that we will contact you to book an installation date as soon as we know that the product has arrived, and is available to us. We reserve the right to extend this based on circumstances out of our control, i.e. customs and shipping. We will communicate with you if we expect any delays or changes to the commitment above.
Installation
Your fitting will be carried out by an experienced and fully qualified fitter and we ask that you ensure that the area around the required shutters is made fully accessible. The final balance will now become due (50% of your order value). This is made by following the instructions on your invoice.
Remedial
In the very rare circumstance that the shutters do not fit, due to a measure or a manufacturing issue, the shutters (or part there of) will be replaced. We will keep you informed during the process. The timescales for rectification will be similar to the original supply timeline. Our standard Terms will apply to all transactions/sales.
